Ready to grow and create more impact with your community in the South of Scotland?
Contact SOSE for advice, training and resources for experienced entrepreneurial communities.
Are you an established community organisation interested in creating more impact and becoming more sustainable in the long term? If so, it’s time to talk to SOSE!
We offer expert advice, training and resources for experienced community organisations keen to use entrepreneurial tools to benefit their communities.
We can help you with business planning, skills, leadership and capacity-building, inspiration and expertise.
We can support you to develop community assets and income streams, for greater financial resilience in your area.
We also want to learn from you, and share knowledge and best practice across the South of Scotland, so everyone can benefit.
Maybe you’re an established organisation with experience of fundraising, delivering projects and making an impact in your area? But you want to think longer-term, reduce reliance on project funding, and work towards sustainability.
If that’s you, SOSE can offer a mix of support, including 121 advice, workshops and training, resources and, in some cases, funding.
We work closely with local and national third sector partners, to ensure a joined-up approach that makes the most of everyone’s expertise, and emerging opportunities.
Overarching SOSE themes include Net Zero, Fair Work and place working with key partners on the ground. To learn more about the strategic picture, see the Regional Economic Strategy.
Every community organisation is different, and our support is tailored to you. To find out more, book a call with a communities adviser.
I would just say, pick up the phone and ask a question. They're really friendly, really easy to speak to and even if they don't have the answer, they'll know someone who does. So they'll be able to put you in the right direction.
