The music sector in the South of Scotland holds significant cultural and economic value.
To enhance our understanding and support the growth of this sector, SOSE and our partners are undertaking a comprehensive data project that will gather, analyse, and visualise data to provide insights into the music industry in the region.
If you are in the music industry in the South of Scotland, by taking part in this survey, you will help us to better understand the sector's dynamics, challenges and opportunities to help us develop targeted strategies to support its growth and sustainability.
The survey is anonymous and the data controller for the information provided will be South of Scotland Enterprise. We will aggregate the data from the survey to create a report that will help us understand the sector's challenges and opportunities.
Partners involved in the development of this project includes Creative Scotland, Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival, Dumfries and Galloway Council, Dumfries Music Collective, Duncan MacKinnon Music and Arts Trust, Live Borders, Loreburn Hall, Music Venues Trust, Scottish Music Industry Association and South of Scotland Enterprise.
