Our AI Mentoring programme provides tailored, one-to-one support from experienced AI specialists. The mentoring will help you identify where AI could add value, understand and overcome barriers to adoption, and focus on the opportunities that are most relevant to your business.

Support will be shaped around your needs, whether you want to make better use of existing AI tools, improve your data and processes, explore automation, or assess the potential for a more bespoke AI solution. SMEs (including business and social enterprise) based in the Scottish Borders and/or Dumfries & Galloway are eligible to apply.
SMEs wishing to access AI Mentoring must be based and operate within the South of Scotland.
AI Mentoring in the SOSE region is part of the National AI Adoption Programme for SMEs, being delivered by Scottish Government in partnership with South of Scotland Enterprise.

How do I apply?

Enquiries will be treated on a first-come-first-served basis and once indications show the fund limit is reached, new enquiries will be paused.
SOSE assistance is discretional and SOSE decision will be final.
