First South of Scotland Accessing Finance Conference invites ambitious businesses to find out more about funding opportunities

Businesses across the South of Scotland seeking to raise funds to support their ambitions are being encouraged to sign up to a new event next month.

The first Accessing Finance Conference takes place on Wednesday 5 June at Tweed Horizons in Newtown St Boswells, with a second conference due to take place in Dumfries & Galloway later this year.

The Conference will provide information, education and networking opportunities for businesses to find out more about the variety of funding options that are available.

A range of financial experts and relevant funding providers will be in attendance and speaking at the event to help ambitious businesses to make connections.

These include:

  • British Business Bank – the government-owned economic development bank focused on helping businesses to access finance
  • FSE Group - who provide debt and equity solutions for high-growth, small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs)
  • Foresight Group - sustainability-led alternative assets and SME investment manager
  • Interpath Advisory -the largest independent turnaround and restructuring business in the UK
  • Sallyport Commercial Finance – Invoice financing solutions for SMEs and entrepreneurs
  • Lombard Asset Finance - specialist asset finance solutions to help fund and manage assets
  • Scottish Enterprise – Financial Readiness Team.
