Scottish Living Wage Awards 2025 winners

South of Scotland shines at Scottish Living Wage Awards

Dumfries & Galloway dairy company Rowan Glen and South of Scotland Enterprise both picked up Scottish Living Wage Awards on Thursday 13 November.

Rowan Glen received the Living Hours Award, demonstrating their commitment to fair pay and good work.

We picked up the Outstanding Leadership title, recognising its efforts to champion Fair Work across the region, and drive positive change for workers and employers.

Live Borders were also finalists in the Newcomer category, while Peebles-based Evolution BPS were finalists for the Living Pension Award.

The Scottish Living Wage Awards aim to celebrate organisations that are making an outstanding contribution to the Living Wage movement in Scotland.

The awards took place in Edinburgh during Living Wage Week, with Fiona Hyslop, Scottish Government Minister for Transport, in attendance to help announce the winners.

Seonaid Mann, our Fair Work and Equality Lead, said:

"Winning the Outstanding Leadership Award is a testament to the collaborative effort across the South of Scotland to embed Fair Work principles.

“We are proud to work alongside employers who share our vision for a region where fair pay and respect for workers are the norm."

Jane Morrison-Ross, our Chief Executive, added:

"Fair Work is good for people, businesses and our economy.

“These awards celebrate the dedication of businesses in the South of Scotland to creating secure jobs and stronger communities.

“Congratulations to all nominees and we are delighted to see Rowan Glen recognised for all the work they have done.

“SOSE is working with partners and employers to make the South of Scotland a region where Fair Work is at the heart of every organisation, at the heart of growth and jobs of the future.”
