Statement on death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
South of Scotland Enterprise Chair, Professor Russel Griggs, has expressed deepest condolences on behalf of the agency to the Royal Family following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Professor Griggs, said:
“Many businesses, community groups and local people in Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders will have fond memories of The Queen during numerous Royal visits she made to our region during her 70 year reign.
“We will cherish these memories and the significant impact Her Majesty had on our country during her seven decades of service.
“On behalf of South of Scotland Enterprise, I offer my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family.”
