“Recovery will take time, but this funding will enable communities and tourism businesses to come together to work on solutions for the industry and I encourage anybody working in the sector who is looking to develop their skills to consider applying.”
Professor Russel Griggs OBE, Chair of South of Scotland Enterprise
“The pandemic has had a devastating impact on the tourism industry and this programme aims to provide targeted support and intervention to help the sector recover and thrive into the future.
“We recognise the importance of leadership in helping with this recovery and we encourage anyone in the South of Scotland who can play a key role in tourism recovery to take a look at the various opportunities available.”
Access to the programme is limited, the application process is competitive, and organisations applying should confirm they meet the programme criteria and where possible should highlight how they will deliver best benefit and return for the locality/sector.
